This new project, realised by the Investor Assistance and Business Promotion Office, will publicise the economic potential of the Podlaskie Voivodeship in Poland and abroad.
The Marshal of the Podlaskie Voivodeship, Artur Kosicki, and the Director of the Investors Assistance and Business Promotion Office, Mariusz Dąbrowski, officially inaugurated a project aimed at promoting the economic potential of the Podlaskie Voivodeship in Poland and abroad in 2020-2023. This is the first large promotional campaign of the region, the purpose of which is to attract external investments.
“We have started work that will go on for a long time to raise awareness among enterprises from both Europe and the rest of the world of the Podlaskie Voivodeship, the advantages it offers and why it is worth coming here and investing,” said Marshal Kosicki.
According to Mariusz Dąbrowski, the Podlaskie Voivodeship has great potential to become a new east-west and north-south transport junction in the nearby future. “We are trying to position our region as a central location within Europe, a place where main trading routes – the Silk and Amber Roads – cross. In the past, we have promoted our region as an outlying area of the European Union, but as the world and geoeconomics are changing, the Podlaskie Voivodeship has a chance to take centre stage.
This new direction for the region is presented in an animated video that shows off its strategic location as a transit link between Europe and Asia.
We’ve planned numerous activities under the project ‘Podlaskie – The natural place to do business’. These activities include online, press and TV advertising campaigns, study tours/visits, economic missions and seminars, and a new base of investment areas. The campaign will be addressed to external recipients, mainly foreign ones.
