Establishing institutional foundations and essential knowledge base for the Agricultural Valley 4.0 Regional Innovation Ecosystem

The primary objective of the project is to prepare the institutional foundation and necessary knowledge for the Regional Innovation Ecosystem (RIE) – Agricultural Valley 4.0 – to enable the development and implementation of main large-scale project: “Regional Innovation Ecosystem Agricultural Valley 4.0”. The implementation of the project’s primary objective will contribute to increasing Podlaskie’s competitiveness and placing it on a path of economic development based on continuous innovation and technological progress.

• Carrying out qualitative research and analyses to diagnose the innovative potential of the Podlaskie Voivodeship.
• Organisation of meetings with partners involved in the process of creating the Regional Innovation Ecosystem in Podlaskie.
• Organisation of international study visits with RIE members to exchange experience and connect with the best knowledge centres/innovation ecosystems in the world.
• Creation of IT tools and carrying out informational activities aimed at promoting the concept of the Agricultural Valley 4.0 RIE and popularising automation among Podlaskie’s enterprises.
• Preparation of a professional business concept establishing the Regional Innovation Ecosystem.
• Purchase of the necessary analyses and expert services.
• Preparation of the final report based on the analyses commissioned under the project.

The project is implemented under Podlaskie’s 2014-2020 Regional Operational Program, Priority Axis I. Strengthening the potential and competitiveness of the region’s economy, Measure 1.2 Support for knowledge transfer, innovation, technology and commercialization of the results of R&D in enterprises and development of R&D activities in enterprises, Sub-measure 1.2.1 Support for knowledge transfer, innovation, technology and commercialization of R&D results in enterprises and development of R&D activities in enterprises.
